ODE
Ode began with a conversation with my good friend Kevin late one night post a back and fourth sharing of poetry. Well, at least that's likely where the name was first uttered in my presence. Years later that little seed of an idea has sprouted and began to grow a budding poetry community. With bi-weekly writing meetings and quarterly Open Mic Events, this poetry group is well on it's way to being a robust community of driven creatives supporting one another in their craft of writing. Through this group, I'm learning a lot both as a founder and facilitator, as well as a community member. I am well on my way towards completing my first poetry book and am slowly building towards starting a poetry podcast to help share and further support the writers of the group. I will continue to create all the visual media for this group and make updates, here, when necessary.
